Kitty Kahn gets the last word. Calls CM Briggs a liar. Reads some charter language. Tells the Mayor to make eye contact or something. #a2council (can I get a FUCK YOU MARK LEE in the chat?)

Thomas Wieder, library lot lawyer guy, is mad that his unfunded mandate parking lot park hasn't gotten developed and we're going to vote to do something else. #a2council Vote Yes on A and B!

Former CM Kathy Griswold is worried about our divided community, I think because people disagree on the comp plan stuff? idk exactly. She also doesn't like the Miller two-way cycle track I think? #a2council

Shannon Lau is disappointed about DC-3. Happy about a few points that expedite triplexes. Frustrated about unit-based limits. Quadplexes that have the same envelope as a monoplex are not ok? Can't convert a monoplex to a quad? Why? #a2council

Tom Stulberg (is The Mayor of LowerTown wearing his tophat?) liked when people didn't attack other people. Does housing provider stuff re: duplexes and triplexes. Claims the plan will not do anything about affordability and that we've been "duped". Denies supply and demand. #a2council

Eric Shalayko also disappointed in DC-3. Despite the fact that it might make things happen, it caters to the wealthy and privileged. Eric calls out pause the plan people and other nimbys for their classist attitudes. #a2council

Nishant Kheterpal disappointed in DC-3. Lives next to an 8-plex, multiple small apartments from the 60s nearby. Used to be legal, not anymore. We should bring em back citywide without limitation on units or by neighborhood. #a2council

Alec Doss doesn't agree with DC-3 but thanks #a2council for thoughtful deliberation. Wished we hadn't limited unit sizes, hopes council continues to increase housing production. Limiting units just makes solving the problem take longer.

Deb Stern thanks #a2council, appreciates their service. Says yes to more residents and housing options, and wants them everywhere, equitably, in all neighborhoods. This is about near-campus neighborhoods, and wants development pressure to be counterbalanced by policy.

Anyhow they need 8 votes to pass a budget amendment so they had to split the budget thing out and bring it back up when the absent CMs are back cuz they didn't have the votes. DC-3 proper passed. #a2council

If you can find me a Concerned Person that didn't read the ptp website or talk to someone who got a bunch of misinformation from the ptp website I would be very surprised. #a2council

City council discussing land speculation. (We built this city on land speculation, right from the very start.)
